The “O” and the “Oh” of the twelve-day Christmas season are so vivid and real when the Magi arrive at last at their blessed destination. I have always loved this sweet drama, played out in the Nativity scene, with childlike wonder. On this festival day, do I hold the joy of Christmas in my heart, even as the Christmas trees vanish and the last needles are swept away?
