Do you have a sense of understanding the suffering of Christ, at times, in your life? Do you also have a sense of partaking, sometime in the future, in Christ's perfection? Which of these is easier for you to understand?

Occasionally I suspect that I catch a glimmer of suffering as any suffering I experience is greatly overshadowed by what Jeus suffered. I dare not compare mine to his, but any suffering I do experience does participate in his sufferings. I think of 2 of my sufferings - fighting my self - deliberately 2 separate words - that is a suffering that Paul described - I don't do what I want, etc. The other suffering is when I am the will of God to someone - when I need to speak stronger than will earn me cheery points from someone. It is suffering to stand for God - and the suffering deepens on those occasions when I am not taken seriously or am misunderstood. It's a mystery, but somehow that unites me with Christ's sufferings.
